Support of the international appeal to the UN about Israel’s war of repression of the BDS https://bdsmovement.net/un-appeal

We, the undersigned Jewish organizations and individuals from various countries all over the world urge the Israeli government to immediately stop abusing universal human rights.

-    Freedom of movement,

-  Freedom of political opinion

- Freedom of political expression,

have to be granted to Omar Barghouti and all citizens and residents in Israel and in the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel.

Citizen’s boycotts against Israel to bring about its compliance with its obligations under international law; resistance against the long Israeli occupation, as well as ongoing colonial settlement and exploitation of Palestinian land and last but not least, opposition to the whole obstructive project of Zionism because it is dangerous for both the Israelis and the Palestinians should not be conflated with anti-Jewish racism. We speak out against any form of racial exclusion and stand together against anti-Muslim as well as anti-Jewish racism.

We, Jews from all over the world regard the exclusion and oppression imposed on Palestinians for the sake of a Jewish hegemony “from the Nile to the Euphrates”, as the president of Israel, Reuven Rivlin, chooses to put it, a most harmful expression of racism.

We therefore declare:

Not in our Name! Israel is not above international law! All violations against human rights on the territories governed or occupied by its authorities have to be stopped immediately.
